Print: Baxter - CL 236 - Taken from the famous picture by Rubens.
 
It sold in Roman Catholic countries in large numbers including France hence the title in French can be found on some mounts. Not a rare print but quite hard to find in good condition as, presumably, most copies were prominently displayed and hence faded in the direct sunlight.
 
The print was produced from a plate and fourteen blocks and is said by a number of writers as being Baxter’s greatest work.
