Postage and Packing
All items for sale on my site are excluding postage. All postal charges are at cost, I ship worldwide.
Orders can vary from one to twenty prints, framed or unframed, as such it is impossible to quote upfront postage without over charging. Please feel free to email for a quote before ordering.
I will advise total cost, including postage, on receipt of the order and post by the best, most economical, method. I do not charge for packing and I try to recycle packing materials wherever possible.
All items are very well packed, I have been sending items around the world for over 25 years now with no losses. With framed prints, where I feel necessary, I tape the glass, just in case. Glass can be removed upon request, for safety or to reduce postage costs. For large prints I always recommend removing the glass, especially if being sent abroad. Unfortunately no carrier covers breakage of glass, even with insurance, so the glass is always sent at customers risk.
To give an indication of costs I list below postage charges as at April 2026, they tend to change once a year in April. If this list is out of date please feel free to email me as a chase to update these prices:

International insurance can usually be increased from £50 to £250 for £2.50
Tubes – Very few, if any, Baxter Prints can be rolled but – large Mockler sheets and full Kronheim sheets work well. They are large yet light so become particularly attractive when multiple sheets are posted
As an example:
USA:
1 Kronheim sheet £12.60
5 Kronheim sheets £12.60 (maybe 6 sheets as they should still be under the 250g limit)
10 Kronheim sheets £14.75 as they should still be within the 500g limit
There is a multitude of other options and weight limits available – this chart is purely to give you a general indication of costs, I will always endeavour to post by the best available method.
Shipping to USA: Tariffs are mainly talked about when you import into the USA.
The majority of what I sell is sent under tariff code 970210 (Original engravings, prints and lithographs - over 100 years old) and as such have no duty is payable. I use Royal Mail's Postal Delivered Duties Paid (PDDP) service to ensure that your items pass through customs easily and no extra duty is payable on receipt. If required please contact me to ask for a postage quote, including tariffs, before ordering.
Shipping to the EU: From July 2026 the EU has abolished the E150 VAT free limit. Now (your countries) VAT is payable on all purchases plus a E3 Duty. We can post via a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) service which collects your countries VAT and duty so nothing is due on delivery. This is particle valuable for deliveries to Italy where we have experienced untold delays in Italian customs, sometimes with no contact with the buyer, and sometimes the items being sent back to us 'not claimed' six months later. Now, with no duty payable in your country, the items will just be delivered direct to your door. We will advise total postage costs including VAT and duty when you place the order. Please feel free to ask for a quote before ordering if required.
