Queen Victoria, Prince Albert, and two of their children are seen approching Balmoral Castle, the Queen’s Scottish home, the wooded hill of Craig Gowan rises at the back. Used as an illustration to The Wreath or Ladies' Complete Pocket-book, 1851, under the print is the title and on the left "Printed in oil colours by Le Blond & Co." and on the right "Licencees, London." The print can also be found in minature in Le Blonds ‘Regal’ needlebox set
