Print: Le Blond Print LB 4, also cataloged as CL 55. Queen Victoria, Prince Albert, and two of their children are seen approching Balmoral Castle, the Queen’s Scottish home, the wooded hill of Craig Gowan rises at the back. Used as an illustration to The Wreath or Ladies' Complete Pocket-book, 1851, when in the pocket book,under the print is the title and on the left "Printed in oil colours by Le Blond & Co." and on the right "Licencees, London." The print can also be found in minature in Le Blonds ‘Regal’ needlebox set

Date: 1850

Approx size (cm ht x w): 6.2 x 9.6 (print) plus lace mount etc

State: A print mounted on to a fine paper lace mount, possibly from a scrapbook, someone has over mounted this in green paper and I have supported the delicate paper lace with acid free card on the reverse

Condition: Excellent colours the delicate paper lace border has separated in one corner and down one side but this can’t be seen and holding strongly
