Print: Baxter - CL 134 - Queen's Floral Needle Box Set. This was intended for each print to be cut and placed on small boxes containing sewing needles. Please see my page on needle boxes prints for more information. Although these individual prints are not rare I have never seen an example on an actual needle box. For some reason there use, along with other Baxter needle box prints, have been regularly seen in parlour scrap albums which were very popular at this time. They were printed in a number of colours, blue being the most commonly seen, this example is in green

On each small print is signed "G. Baxter, Patentee, 11, Northampton Square,"

State: Over mounted in cream in modern wood frame with gilt edging
