Print: Le Blond – LB 80 - One of the highly collectible set of 32 ovals, this shows children playing in the millstream with two boats, one towing the other. The scene represents what would have happened at sea when a ship captured a pirate or enemy ship towing it back to port as everyone on board would then get a proportion of the ‘prize’

 

Date: 1850 / 60’s

 

Size (cm ht x w): 13 x 16.5 (Image) – 27 x 37 (frame)

 

State: On Embossed mount as issued, framed in 1920’s style blue with gilt edging in an appealing but unusually wide ‘modern’ gilt frame

 

Condition: Very good colours, small surface ‘nick’ to the sky, priced to reflect
