Print: Baxter CL 259 - Quite a hard print to find, it was published in Suttaby's Le Souvenir for 1849. The wife, with her child on her lap, and two others close by, are seen waiting the return of her husband. On the steel plate, under the print, is engraved the title and "Printed in Oil Colours by George Baxter, Patentee, 11, Northampton Square, from a Painting by F. J. Wyburd,"
Produced from a plate and twelve blocks and originally sold at 6d.

Condition: Excellent colours on very clean mount that has light toning on three corners where it has been stored in an album, the reason it has retained its colours so well.
