Print: Baxter - CL 352. A beautiful country scene the harvest is being collected, the young son is also helping and has a sheaf of corn placed in front the two women who are looking after the young children. A dog is asleep at their feet. 

According to Baxter 1860 auction sale catalogue this is taken from a painting by William Shayer - It was produced from an engraved steel plate and ten colour blocks, and was originally sold at 1s. 6d. 

Signed on the extreme right bottom corner, "Publd. Nov.  20th, 1857, Baxter, Proprietor, London,"

Date: 1857

Approx. size (cm ht x w): 14.8 x 9.8 (print) 22.3 x 28.7 (frame)

State: On stamped mount as issued, minor spots to an otherwise remarkably clean mount. In modern gilt frame

Condition: Excellent, you would struggle to get a better example. Please note there is some glare from the glass in the images.
