1423 Soldiers Return
 
Print: Le Blond No 77 – One of Le Blonds well-known set of 32 ovals. This image shows the soldier, presumably returning from the Crimean War regaling stories of his heroics with his friends. Something that would have been very poignant when this was published The Crimean War ran from 1853 till 1856. Signed in the body of the print Le Blond & Co London and LA Elliot Boston (his American agent)

State: On original embossed mount as issued including the embossed title and serial number bottom right hand corner
 
Condition: Light toning to the very edge of the top of the mount else excellent
