Print: Baxter CL 214 – The Princess Royal, Princess Victoria, first daughter of Queen Victoria and upon marriage to Prince Frederick Wm. of Prussia would become Empress Frederick, German Empress and Queen of Prussia, and mother to Wilhelm II.
 
It was stated, in the 1860 Southgate and Barrett Catalogue, that it was "taken from a miniature prior to Her Royal Highness leaving England" after her marriage in 1858. 
 
It was produced from a plate and eight blocks and originally sold at 1s.
