Print: Baxter - CL 337 - Published in the pocket book Le Souvenir, 1847. A small and quite hard to find small pocket book print of Nuremburg, now in Germany.
When in the pocket book under the print is the title and "From a Painting by S. Prout, Esq.," "Baxter's Patent Oil Printing, 11, Northampton Square,”. Baxter bought the original picture from Prout, and it afterwards came into the possession of his daughter, Mrs. Oliver. It’s location is currently unknown
It was only published on the early Blue Lined Mount and never on a Red Seal or Stamped Mount so would have only been published for a short period as Red Seal Mounts were introduced circa 1849 and hence why Courtney Lewis categorised any version of this print as Very Rare
