Print: This is a full uncut, unnumbered sheet titled in French under the print La Rencontre A La Fountain (The Meeting at The Fountain), A large continental scene with two country ladies filling their pitchers with water from the well. In the mid distance is a mother and baby on a donkey with her husband walking alongside her. They appear to be looking at a floral decorated cross.
Most probably printed for the French market.
It was first catalogued in The Baxter Times of the 1920’s and at that time numbered 332
