Print: This is a full uncut sheet, sheet No 7709, showing twelve prints titled in French (with my translations) of views of famous landmarks in Paris:
La Madeleine (Church of Saint Mary Magdalene) - Palais Du Luxembourg (Luxembourg Palace) - Place De La Concorde (The site of many notable public executions, including Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette and Maximilien Robespierre during the French Revolution, when it was temporarily renamed the Place de la Révolution ('Revolution Square') - Place Vendome (a famous octagonal public square, known for its stunning architecture, luxury jewellery boutiques (like Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron), high-end hotels (like the Ritz Hotel), and the central Vendôme Column commemorating Napoleon's victory at Austerlitz) - L'Arc De Triomphe (Arc de Triomphe) - Le Louvre (The Louvre) - Les Tuileries (The Tuileries Garden is a public garden between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde) - Notre Dame - Le Pantheon (Le Panthéon is a neoclassical mausoleum in the Latin Quarter, originally built as a church but transformed into a secular temple housing the tombs of France's greatest citizens, like Victor Hugo, Marie Curie, and Voltaire, known for its grand dome) - Palais Royal (The Palais-Royal is a former French royal palace located on Rue Saint-Honoré) - Colonne De Juillet (July Column is a monumental column in Paris commemorating the Revolution of 1830. It stands in the centre of the Place de la Bastille and celebrates the Trois Glorieuses — the 'three glorious' days of 27–29 July 1830 that saw the fall of Charles X, King of France, and the commencement of the July Monarchy of Louis-Philippe, King of the French) - Hotel De Ville (City Hall, the Renaissance Revival building in Paris, the seat of the city's government)
They were first catalogued in The Baxter Times of the 1920’s and at that time numbered 341 to 352
