Print: Bradshaw & Blacklock No 51 - One of the prints in B&B’s signature book, The Pictorial Casket of Coloured Gems, this was issued in parts and then sold in one volume in 1853/4. The spelling of the title of this print is today considered as the American spelling but this and the spelling of the word color seems common place in England in the 1850’s – She doesn’t look anything like Olivia Coleman!
