1374 Victoria Bridge, Windsor
Print: Le Blond – LB 38 – CL 72 - The image shows Victoria Bridge at Windsor on the outskirts of London with a large part of Windsor Castle in the background. The bridge was built in 1851 and remains to this day.
The bridge crosses the River Thames and state barges can be seen underneath.
It was used as an illustration to Renshaw's Elegant Pocket Keepsake for 1853 when, in the centre it would have the title and on the left "Printed in oil colours by Le Blond & Co." and on the right "Licencees, London." It was also issued by Le Blond on embossed mounts as this example although the mount has now been cut down
