1440 Richmond Bridge – Stamped Mount
Print: Baxter - CL 298 - Used in the pocket book Suttaby's Le Souvenir, 1852 and also issued separately by Baxter.
It shows the River Thames near London with Richmond Bridge in the background. Pedestrians are on the towpath awaiting the ferry. The old City of London State barge, Maria Wood, which was located here for many years, is shown on the other side of the river.
Produced from eleven blocks, and originally sold at 6d.
