Print: Le Blond Baxter – originally published by Baxter in 1857 as CL 334 – Le Blond printed this by Baxter’s patent process and also by Chromolithography. This copy is the rarer Baxter process version. Lack of Baxter’s signature is enough to say this is by Le Blond but although this copy not signed by Le Blond it is also not trimmed so this must be one of the early LB copies, after removing Baxter’s signature but before engraving his own.

Courtney Lewis states that “The view is taken from the landing- place at Fluelen, looking towards Tell's Chapel.“ Baxter stated this was after Turner, presumably Joseph Mallord William Turner
