Print: Bradshaw & Blacklock No 134 (CL84) - One of the illustration to B & B’s signature book “The Pictorial Casket of Coloured Gems” published in 1853/4. The name of the cathedral is printed on each subject, from top left to right: Westminster, Lincoln, Lichfield, St. Paul's, York, Norwich, Oxford, St. David's, Winchester and St. Asaph. There are two versions of most of B& B prints the earlier finest grade versions sometimes on stamped mounts and later versions produced using lower standard inks and paper which tend to be duller and sometimes quite blurred. This is an example of the first finest grade printing.
