Print: Le Blond LB 37, CL 41 – Abbotsford was the house built by Sir Walter Scott at Clarty Hole farm by the Tweed and this view is probably from the Melrose road. Used as an illustration to Renshaw's Friendship's Tribute Pocket-book, for 1853 and issued separately by Le Blond. This print is unsigned.
