Book: A large and quite rare volume The Jubilee Memorial of the Religious Tract Society. On a frontispiece and 2 other pages there are 3 portraits, so 9 in total, of various important people within the society. At the foot of each of those pages is “Engraved by G Baxter, 11 Northampton Square”. Interesting to see that Baxter was still willing to do wood engraving at a period when he was very actively involved in his colour printing including colours prints for the RTS’s Scripture Pockets books of this period. High quality portraits and shows off his reknowed skills as a wood engraver
