Book: Courtney Lewis final book that goes beyond just George Baxter and his Licencees and a must for anyone with a wider interest than just Baxter’s own prints. Covers the history of colour printing, Baxter, Charles Knight, Vizetally, Leighton, Edmund Evans, Fawcett. Lithography inc Hullmandel, Engelmann and onto Chromolithography with Day & Hague, Hanhart. A catalogue of Le Blond and also Bradshaw & Blacklock prints. Many illustrations 375 pages Date: 1928 Size (cm ht x w): 25 x 19 5.5 deep Condition: Binding has some rubbing and light sun toning. Inner hinges are cracked but very solid. We will leave the in the inner leaves some collectors notes and a poor copy of Baxter’s Copper your Honour, they have been there for so long it seems a shame to remove them
