Sunday Morning - SM (908)

Print: Le Blond – LB 101. One of Le Blond’s well-known and highly collectible ovals. This was one of the later Ovals that Le Blond issued and I have only ever seen copies with the joint signatures of Le Blond & Co London and L.A. Elliot & Co Boston so dates this to the late 1860’s. One of only two upright ovals and always very popular. Date: 1860’s Size (cm ht x w): 17 cm x 13.5 cm (image) – 32 cm x 30 cm (frame) State: On Stamped Mount over mounted in cream with a cut-out to expose the embossed title and serial no. bottom right. Framed in nice modern gilt antiqued frame. Condition: Very good colours, two very light foxing marks one to the sky and one to the top embossed border, please see image.
